From 30 June 2021, companies using biomass for electricity, heating and cooling must comply with new requirements for sustainability and greenhouse gas savings. The requirements are listed on Danish Energy Agency’s website: please click here.

Baltic Control® Certification meets the requirements as verifier and this enables us to verify the companies information/data on compliance with the requirements for agricultural biomass before the companies must report to the Danish Energy Agency in accordance with the executive orders.

The first report must be ready in the spring of 2022 for solid biomass for incineration and on 1 September 2022 for biogas and gasification gas.

Contact us on tel +45 39 39 01 35 or by e-mail sustain@balticcontrol.com if you want to get the verification of your companys sustainability data started.

Verification of data to the Danish Energy Agency information and reference:
As previous mentioned on the Danish Energy Agency’s website you can read what requirements are set, find the relevant executive orders and information on how the requirements are met and finally you can download relevant guidance material: Please click here.
